The WA Solar Schools Program is funded by the Western Australian Government and administered by the Sustainable Energy Development Office (SEDO). The information provided below is an overview of the WA Solar Schools Program and should be used as a guide only. Full details of eligibility criteria, rebates available and the application process are provided in the program guidelines. Eligibility Non-government schools must be registered by the Minister for Education under the School Education Act 1999 and must be not-for-profit. Rebates available Funding is available for both new systems and additions to existing systems. For additions to existing systems, the school must not have previously received funding from SEDO for that system. Schools can seek additional funding from the Australian Government's National Solar Schools Program (conditions apply). How to apply Government schools - click here for application procedures. Note: Application procedures differ due to Department of Treasury and Finance (Building Management and Works) procurement requirements for government schools.
